DetroitPromo.Com / Detroit Promo Radio Show has joined forces with Detroit's newest on-line music community called the h3o Music Netwerk @ www.h3omusic.com and we ask that you log on and join this new music community. Our mission ambition is to have the common music listener more comfortable with enjoying different types of dance music stateside.

h3o Entertainment/h3omusic.com has been an on-line supporter of techno music for 10 years and counting. Starting in 1999 the first version of h3omusic.com was committed to supporting the art of techno. With the 90,s invasion of rap music it seemed techno music was forced to the live life underground by the mainstream. We Support!

To assist in the effort to convey new Detroit music to the masses. h3o Entertainment started two record labels h3o Recordings dist. by Electrofunk Records with it’s first debut release Legendary, Sept 2008 a techno/house compilation featuring the brightest in Detroit techno Ray 7 (Los Hermanos, UR, Tek Bros.) B. Calloway (Electrofunk, Submerge Recordings) Mr. Fuss (Red Planet Live) along with Body Mechanic and DJ Spade. H3o Recordings also added two local rappers to the roster Faceman & Tyrone Roundtree coming 2009 with the hot rap. And Body Mechanic will still banging the Ghetto Tek mix tape style.

And the second venture in music is with EPM distributing DTR - Detroit Techno Records which already has 6 releases slated for 2009 like the Dr. Detroit EP, We Want Sum Pucsi EP’s 1 & 2 from the great Body Mechanic. DJ Spade will be breaking new ground with two EP releases out the gate The Watch EP & Le Trou Noir EP. Other artist releasing this summer will be207737, Lego tha Cook & Dick Whyte & the Nasty Boyz the group which music critics are tagging the new 2 Live Crew.

Events Galore

We've got several events coming up in the next few weeks... we're kicking off the summer with Detroit Promo Live Pt. 1 @ The Lager House on May 12th followed by Sexy Subtronic @ The Ritz on May 17th. We will be all over the Movement fest and then coming June 12th is The Gemini Birthday Extravaganza @ The Detroit West Club for yours truly (DJ Spade), DJ Dee and the one and only Body Mechanic... detroit Promo is seeking an underwriter

As a way to offset some of the cost of bringing you this site, bandwith for archived podcasts and some of the other cool things we have planed for you in the coming year. We are seeking local ad revenue in the form of an underwirter for the radio broadcast on WHFR.FM 88.3 Dearborn... As you know from listening to the show, WHFR is a college radio station so runnning full blown ad spots is out of the question but as an underwriter for the show you get "mentions" that include all the info your customers need to come spend money with you (and show how cool you are supporting local music ... and the show).
